The artist has donated the entirety of his £25,000 honor cash to the MVT, which operates to preserve the UK's small live music spots.
The star was given the award on mid-October as his new release the album was named the best record of the previous year.
The musician has chosen to give the cash to the MVT, in appreciation of the vital role local spots played in his initial steps.
"I would not have achieved my current career if it hadn't been for all the gigs I did around the region, and further afield, when I was beginning," remarked Fender. "These venues are legendary, but they are struggling."
From early 2023 onward, more than 150 of these venues have ceased operations – about one-sixth of the total UK scene.
Over the past year, major artists like Pulp, Coldplay, Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran have all aided the trust in its initiatives to help venues survive, by applying a small levy to their ticket prices, which supports local stages.
He also took part, collecting over £100k on his 2024 arena tour to help thirty-eight grassroots venues across Britain.
The donation helped locations that were dealing with imminent closure due to difficulties arising from flooding, fires and personal losses, as well as regulatory hurdles, conflicts and noise complaints.
Additional spaces were granted financial assistance in modernizing infrastructure and technical equipment that helped musicians and fans.
"The concept that money from performances in major spaces supports the smaller venues, where it all starts for performers like me, is just logical," the star has commented.
The musician is among several artists to contribute his award winnings to worthy causes.
In Pulp won the trophy in 1996 for their record their work, lead singer the singer announced that the band would contribute their prize money to the charity War Child.
That year, rapper and singer the artist shared her prize between multiple good causes, such as the NSPCC and a charity for Sickle Cell.
"Additionally, I contributed a grand to the center, to their classes, because I trained in gymnastics when I was younger and they needed updated gear," the artist explained to the media.
In recent years, Ezra Collective donated their winnings to the community center that developed their band, as well as other independent music bodies.
And the 1994 recipients M People gave their prize to a MS organization after a friend was found to have the condition.
"Receiving the award was ample," remarked singer the singer. "The prize was the bonus but we didn't require the cherry, because we had the cake. So our victory impacted the lives of others."
Last week, the trust revealed it had rescued several small stages in south-east England, by bringing them into local control.
One venue in that area and The Croft in the city were acquired under the public acquisition scheme, which is supported by Arts Council England and supporters who purchase "ownership units" in the properties.
