In a unexpected crossover event that breaks usual expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of banned ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The plot features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.

The mission focuses on "bizarre tests and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Transformations

The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an unique katana in addition to numerous objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
